About me

Georgia Babbington-Fowles MSc

I am a Senior Marketing Lead Account Manager with a Master’s with Distinction in International Fashion Marketing and four years of experience in social media and digital marketing. I bring expertise in data-driven, revenue-focused marketing strategies and comprehensive social media management. I consistently increase brand awareness and engagement through innovative campaigns. Skilled in cross-functional collaboration to align marketing efforts with brand identity and growth goals.

 

My interest and passion for digital marketing and social media culminated during my final dissertation at Manchester Metropolitan University. This project delved into the profound influence of social media and NFTs in the fashion industry, specifically on contemporary culture, societal issues, and consumers' access to Fashion. 

 

Before my time at Manchester Metropolitan University, I gained a First-Class Honors diploma in Business Management with Marketing BA (Hons) from Leeds Beckett University, establishing my strong foundation in marketing, data analytics, and CRM.

 

Through my experience as a Social Media and PR Account Manager, I have refined my skills in client management, strategy planning, and data analytics. Through channeling these skills I can generate brand growth and customer engagement consistently. A noteworthy highlight of my career includes securing client press features, through strategic outreach and relationship building. 

 

​I am passionate about the artistry, self-expression, and community that Fashion generates. Fashion's ability to portray a personal narrative and a societal commentary inspired me to become part of the movement. I spend my spare time attending local events and exhibitions and connecting with like-minded individuals.

 

Beyond my professional skills, I'm an avid DJ, playing in various venues in Manchester and Nottingham. I love sports and participate in football and netball teams in the Manchester area.
